At the end of the Tokugawa period, the “battle of Toba fushimi” broke out between Satsuma and Tokugawa Shogunate Army, The Tokugawa army was defeated and trying to reoccur in the castle of Inaba who is the feudal lord, but the Yodo refused to enter the castle, and conversely bombarded.
When entering the Meiji era, Yodo Castle was also destroyed in accordance with the Waste Castle Order, and the remains are Stonewall, water, Tensorantai ruins etc. In addition, development has proceeded as a park of the Yodo Castle and the restoration is done.
