Hojo Ujitaka and Hojo Saburo were the castle owner and it was abandoned after the Battle of Hojo.
[Description]
Kozukue Castle is a flatland-mountain castle located in Kozukue Town, Kohoku District, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Province. The castle was built by Mr. Uesugi during Eikyo Period though the castle built year is unknown.
Bunmei 10 year (1478), [Nagao Shigeharu], who was the leading vassal of Mr. Uesugi, did not stay in his position after his father died, instead, he was against Mr. Uesugi. Mr. Toshima attacked [Outa Doka].
The castle was strong and Mr. Toshima resisted. It is said that it took 2 months to finally fall the castle. After that, once the castle was abandoned, it entered Sengoku Era. When Hojo Ujitsuna suppressed Musashi Country, [Kasahara Nobutame] was appointed as the castle owner.
After that, the castle owner was changed to [Hojo Ujitaka] [Hojo Saburo (Uesugi Kagetora] [Hojo Ujimitsu], Tensho 18 year (1590), the castle fell down at the Battle of Sekigahara. When Mr. Hojo was destroyed, Kanto area was given to [Tokugawa Ieyasu] and the castle was abandoned when Ieyasu moved to Kanto.
The current castle ruin is [Kozukue Castle Site Citizen Forrest]. Honmaru, Ninomaru are still left.
