After that, [Ujikatsu] was the vassal of Mr. Tokugawa until Sengoku Period. When Tokugawa Ieyasu united the country, [Tamanawa Castle] became very important. So he appointed [Honda Masanobu] as the castle owner. After that, it was the residence of Mr. Matsudaira of Nagasawa.
However, Genroku 16 year (1703), when Mr. Matsudaira was transferred to [Outaki Clan], Tamanawa Castle became abandoned. Nowadays, it was the land of a school, and the castle remains are almost damaged.
