Hyuga Takaoka Castle
Attacked by Ito following a loss at Sekigahara, built by Yoshihiro Shimazu to tighten boarder defense

[Description]
In 1600, Yoshihiro Shimazu returned to his homeland Satsuma after the loss at the battle of Sekigahara. On his way home, he was attacked in Hyuga by Ito clan and successfully defended.

From this experience, he built Hyuga Takaoka Castle to tighten boarder defense. Kunisada Hishijima was appointed as the lead guardian of the castle and he protected the boarders.

Hyuga Takaoka Castle became a ruin after Ieyasu Tokugawa took reign. The current castle is just a model and is part of Amagajyou Park.
