At that time, in order to prepare for Mr. Chiba, they trained at Konodai. It is said that the castle was built by the younger brother [Outa Suketada] in Bunmei 11 year (1479). Since Konodai was also the border of Shimosa and Musashi, it was a place where major warfare occurred frequently, such as [the First Konodai Joint Battle] and [the Second Konodai Joint Battle]. Particularly in [the Second Konodai Joint Battle], the fight between Hojo and Chiba allied army, and Satomi, Outa and Sakai allied army became a fierce battle. Satomi won the first battle but then they suffered a great defeat.
