Kashima castle which faced the attack by castle unification of Satake Yoshige.
[Description]
Kashima castle is a medieval Hirayama in Ibaraki prefecture Kashima city.
It is said that “Seikan Kashima” of Hitachi Heishi built by the end of the Heian period.
Kajima reigned this place generously to renovate the castle, but when “Kashima Yoshimiki” was the castle owner, he made a further refurbishment. When entering the Sengoku Era, “Satake Yoshishige” who got a seal of domination of Hitoyoshi from Hideyoshi after Hojo conquest of Toyotomi Hideyoshi invaded the south to put under the control of the entire constant area, Kashima castle was also attacked and dropped out, Kashima fled to Shimosa.
When Tokugawa Ieyasu takes control of the heavens, ‘Satake Yoshinobu’ is transferred to Kubota Castle, and Kashima Castle becomes the place where Kashima goes over again. Incidentally, salary was 200 Jewels. The current mainland site is maintained as “Kashima Shiroyama Park”, and the Outer Citadel is “Ibaraki Prefecture Kashima High School”
