Where Matsudaira Motoyasu attacked during the Battle of Okehazama.
[Description]
Marunetoride is built by Oda Nobunaga, located in Midori District, Nagoya City.
Eiroku 3 year (1560), it was attacked by Imagawa Yoshimoto’s front line [Matsudaira Motoyasu (Tokugawa Ieyasu)] at [the Battle of Okehazama.
Eiroku 2 year (1559), [Oda Nobunaga] built [Washidutoride] and [Zenshojitoride]. Marunetoride is built on the hill of a flatland. [Sakuma Morishige] was the general officer during the Battle of Okehazama, and [Matsuraida Motoyasu] who ledImagawa army was defeated.
After that, Tokugawa Ieyasu and Oda Nobunaga became independent from Mr. Imagawa and they signed the alliance, therefore Marunetoride lost its military value. The current Marunetoride ruins are considered the historic ruins and monuments have been built. In addition, bending wheels and moats are left.
